I got my chinchilla back in August, and she has always let me take her out and allowed me to pet her. Lately, she has been acting strange. She has been making these clicking noises when we pet her or like today, she made clicking noises before I even touched her. This is my first chinchilla, and I have read that this is a sign of distrust. I try to take her out everyday, but it is becoming difficult to get her out of her cage. I have even tried catching her in her dust bath, and then taking her into her play area. I am heartbroken. Please be kind when giving me advice. I am really looking for some ways to make her feel better.
