Chinchilla having seizures?

Our chin cheech is about 1 year old. He started making a slight squeeking while breathing and was occasionally breathing out of his mouth so we took him into the vet and they said he was healthy and okay. His breathing got better and he appeared great. Then I had to take him on a 10 hour car ride(which he handled great the first time) and he seemed completely okay after but a day or two later he started getting lethargic, not eating quite as much, and would often stretch. We don't have enough money to just take him in when he's still eating and pooping(although was smaller) so we called the vet and he said he thinks it's bloating but since he's still eating and moving it's likely not severe. I was recommended infant gas relief medicine which he loves, and it has definitely been helping. Everything is improving except that after the car ride, very occasionally he would randomly tump over and fall down(like he was dizzy) and lays there for a few seconds before getting up and seeming normal. Everything else is getting better, poop is bigger, eating more, more energy, but he still is every so often falling over. We think it might be a seizure but not sure. What could this be? We were thinking the bloat and "seizures" might just be unrelated and that he's epileptic like other chillas since he's improving in every other condition. Also have given him a very weak apple cider vinegar/water mixture which seemed to help him eat as well. Any ideas?
