We recently brought home 2 baby chinchillas that are almost 6 weeks old. They seem fine but their poop is now on the softer, shiny side. It wasn't like that when we 1st got them so I'm not sure what caused it or what to do. It's been like this for about a 5 days now. We feed them timothy's hay, Pellets, and used to be goats milk. I stopped the goats milk because the soft poop started 2 days after I first gave them it. Also, we did feed them a few cheerios for a couple days but stopped that about 3 days ago. The poop is getting stuck to everything. It's still soft. All they are eating now is hay and pellets. What should we do? Is it from stress of a new home and losing their mother or goats milk and cheerios? Help!
