Hi!
So, we got a hedgehog yesterday and checked on her today and she had 3 babies (from what we could tell).
When i checked on her this morning, her cage was a complete mess! After doing some research it seems that she was probably nesting.
Since we didn't know she was pregnant, we didn't prepare a nest for her. Should I introduce one to her as an option? Should I leave it be since she already had the babies?
I know the probability of them surviving is slim, but we want to do everything we can to ensure that they survive. We are leaving mom alone, keeping the room quiet, and only going in to feed and give water.
Anything else we should know?
