I have two chinchillas they are probably 2-3 months old. One is two weeks older than the other. The youngest one very rarely gets out of the nest box and I just discovered this evening he has mild diarrhoea. I have removed the pellets from the cage. I'm not sure what the cause is. Stress? I have not changed their food, they have filtered water, fresh hay, and the other is completely healthy and lively. I'm very worried. The oldest one keeps running to the youngest one in the box, which tells me something is wrong. Ive only had these guys for a week and they were bought from a very reputable breeder. Please help.
