Hi guys. I thought it would be a good idea to mention I found red elastic thread in a sealed packet of Natures Touch hamster/ gerbil snacks (the rose feast (I remove the seeds first before feeding & just give my chins the rose petals and flowers which are chinsafe). If you use the brand I'd suggest checking the pack before feeding.
I have emailed the manufacturers so they can recheck their batches, but thought it might be advisable to mention it. It could be a bad thing from a critter to swallow! Feel free to move as appropriate or pass on. It's always worth checking treats carefully- I found a large stone in a sealed named brand hay pack once!
