Cage within Cage method tips?

I have 2 chinchillas, they are not bonded and they are separate, around the same age and one is a few months older and a little bigger and not as social. The newer one is smaller and more social. I have tried a few methods but I was wondering if anyone has tips on the cage within a cage method of introducing them?
