I purchased blu-kote (dauber form) for my chinchilla, who was bitten on his cheek. Before I try applying it, I want to verify that I’m going to do it correctly. Do I apply a little on the wound with a q-tip and then leave it to dry? Or do I leave it there for a little and then wash it off? This is a relatively new chinchilla so I want to make sure he’s comfortable while I apply it too. I’m planning on dabbing it on there while he’s tired, but I’m unsure if he’ll be bothered when it touches the wound.
