My chinchilla has previously had ringworm and started losing fur on his ears and nose and eyes. I took him to the vet where they prescribed him meds and it went away after a couple weeks. Fast forward to now (a few months later) I just noticed he’s begun to lose fur on his nose again. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him and it doesn’t look aggravated, but it seems to be scabby in one very very small spot, which I’ve read could be from dryness and rubbing against the cage? He sticks his nose out of the cage a lot to sniff around and peek but idk if this is what caused it. Any ideas? I really hope it’s not ringworm again.
