My first chinchilla, Kogi, (who is now a proud mother)gave birth to 3 kits! They all have the same birthday as me, haha which is pretty cool!
They are all quite healthy and Kogi is a very diligent and caring mother. Its so sweet seeing her care for her babies.
Fast forward now its closer to 2 months since Kogi has had the kits and I notice her vagina is swollen and the "hole" enlarged. Previously, I thought that this is probably normal and she just needs time for her to get back to her normal state.
I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this situation. Is this normal? Can I buy my own medicine and clean her up?
