Gerber Daisies.

I am trying to find a plant that I can have on my desk, but I have to find one that is safe for cats and chinchillas and also pretty. I found that Gerber Daisies are safe for cats, but I can't find anything on if they are safe for chinchillas. I don't want to chance anything happening, either with him sneaking a nibble, or with the toxins that some plants release into the air. If anyone has any answers, or recommendations for different plants, please let me know. Thank you! Pikachu and I appreciate it greatly!
