Pictures/Attachments a MAJOR Issue?

Okay, so I'm no newbie to the forum...and I'm no newbie to picture posting. Likewise, I've seen this is not just a "me" issue...what the heck has happened to picture posting?!? If you look over the threads...there are no new pictures, not in a while. Why? Well, they don't post is why?!? Can a moderator tell me what's going on with this, if anything is being done to correct it? I'm puzzled and annoyed. I did manage in the one thread to attach pictures to the extent that if you click on their name you can see them but still, the thumbnail shows the dreaded "X" just the same? What the heck! This could be a major setback for the community as a whole as people cannot share pictures of their pets, their cages, any problems they may have with their pets, their cages, their feed...etc...
