I'm getting 2 females this next Sunday. Both will be 4 months old. I've been thinking about lining the pans of my FN with fleece instead of using bedding. Have been reading about how you should have bedding everywhere to figure out where the chins pee & then move that to the litter pan.
My questions are:
1. Do I need to start out with covering the whole bottom with bedding until I get them potty trained & then remove the bedding with the exception of the litter pan?
2. I've seen that most people use a pyrex baking dish. Since I'll have 2 chins, do I need 2 pans? Or just a bigger pan? What size would you suggest?
3. Since they're only 4 months old, do I go ahead & start with trying to train them now or wait until they're a little older?
4. What bedding is best & where should I purchase it? I'm not a huge fan of Petco/Petsmart but would somewhere like a feed store/Orscheln's have decent bedding? Brand make a difference?
5. Any other tips? :)
