Hi there,
My roommate and I got a chinchilla about a week ago (neither of us have had one before) and everything's been going great so far, but today she got her hind foot caught in the bars of her cage and struggled for a few seconds before getting it out. She's been hopping around and eating/drinking like normal, and we let her out for a bit to roam around the apartment and she wasn't limping or acting weird. I also looked at her foot and it seems to be fine, but I'm so paranoid that she might have gotten hurt. I know that chins can break toes/legs really easily, so I'm not sure if it would be reasonable to take her to the vet or not. Any advice would be very appreciated!
