Chin's new wheel question

Hi,



I just purchased a flying saucer for my little guy, 6 months. He originally had a plastic wheel, which he loved! But after it broke, I decided to go with the flying saucer. I've read that it takes some chins awhile to run on this wheel. I've had the wheel for a week and my little guy isn't running on it. Will he eventually understand that it's a wheel? As of now, he's pretty confused what to do with it.
