Abandoned or Neglected Chinchilla?

I have been intrested in chinchillas since I saw Chinta the chinchilla on Go diego Go. I have been looking for one since summer 2018 and I got to a point where I couldn't afford the ones in LA. Finally I found a add about a month ago and someone had rescued a Neglected chinchilla and was giving her away. She said I was the best person to take her and now I have my little Roo. Unfortunatly I think she gets bored when I am not around. I want to get her a female friend but I am in the position that i was at in the beginning.... I am broke. So if you know if someone is giving away a chinchilla (preferably younger Roo is 2) in the LA area plz let me know I really want to get her a freind that isnt a big dog that is obsessed with her.
