Crusty eyes

Hello everyone, I found this group in hopes to get some advice. I work at a pet store (a good one, I wouldn't work here otherwise) and we got a chin from a breeder I think in NY. Anyways, he's been fine for the last couple of weeks he's been with us but starting a couple days ago, he has goopy eyes and one is crusted shut. He goes to the vet tomorrow, but I want to try and make him a little more comfortable until then. What do you suggest and what could it be from? He was on wood Pellets, now on paper bedding. He gets a dust bath every day during out of cage time.

Any advice? Would a warm compress help? Terramycin?
