9 year old Sapphire female

We got our baby Dizzy 9 years ago in Illinois before moving to California. Now, with the prospect of moving cross country again to the East Coast, we would like to rehome her rather than put her through another cross country move during the summer in which we have to drive.

She's been a lone chin since coming to live with us, and while she loves human interaction, she still shies away from being covered with a hand like I see some other chins warm up to. She has a double level critter nation cage that we would be happy to include if desired, though it is nearly as old as she is. We've replaced the plastic bases with metal bases with raised edges and terry inserts for clean-up.

She typically eats tradition food along with her timothy hay, and she gets the occasional raisin in addition to apple sticks for chewing. We will be leaving the state July 1st, so if we cannot find a good home for her before that date, then we plan to take her with us. We'd very much prefer an experienced chin owner to take her on if one is out there.

She loves to get exercise in her quality cage 15" chin spin, but it's getting old enough that it should be replaced soon. We never could convince her to try out a saucer type wheel, though we have that to include as well.

We are in Redondo Beach, CA. While we could drive to meet someone in the area, the cage would have to be a local pickup in SoCal if that interests you as well. We would be sad to see her go, but we think this would be in her better interest in the long run.
