Hey guys first time posting on here so will try my best to not leave out any details but I am writing this is a bit of a panic!
So.. i got my one year old chinchilla, Lola, 2 weeks ago. She seemed to to be settling in very well with me. I was letting her out every single night in the hallway for atleast an hour, so as usual I did this last night and while i was cleaning out her cage and ( I have no idea how) she managed to get into the kitchen, so i went in and tried to bribe her out with treats, however this made her run, right under the cupboard, where there is a huge hole ( I also didn't know this until I pulled the baseboards of the cupboards off when i couldn't find her). This resulted in her being under my kitchen floor, running around until 4.30am (7 hours)! Long story short she's out now and back in her cage. However tonight she just doesnt see her hyper, bouncy usual self. She's just sitting in the same spot of her cage, only moving to get some food. She's not came to the door to get out and she's not came near when I've went over to her,which is out of character. Is my poor Lola hurt?? or is she just exhausted from her little adventure last night? I am extremely worried about her!
