Hay feeder ideas!?

So I just got my two chins two weeks ago as a class pet for my grade 5 class. Things have been going pretty well! I had a wooden hay feeder for them but they’ve already chewed the entire front off of it! All the feeders at the pet stores around here (Manitoba, Canada) have either wooden ones or plastic ones, or once’s that say the material is plastic and wood mixed?

I don’t really know what to do as I don’t want to have to buy a new hay feeder every two weeks but I am nervous about getting a plastic one...
