I recently got my first chinchilla. He is a few months old and has pretty much gotten used to his new home. Over the last few days, he has had a sudden change in behavior. He is far more skittish and does not allow physical contact. He also has started jumping on to my arm and biting repeatedly. This was all very sudden, like he was fine one day and different the next. Should I take him to the vet? Is this behavior normal?
