Pseudopregnancy/false pregnancy

A friend called me about a problem with a female chinchilla. It's a female 5 years old. Recently she lost fur under chin like she rubbed it off somewhere, her inguinal mammary gland is swollen (about 2,5cm), soft, not painful, not warm, her vagina is opened, no discarge, she is eating, and acting normally. Is it possible that she has false pregnancy? I can't find any literature about this condition in chinchillas. Chinchilla was recently rescued from a fur farm, but she had no contact with a male chinchilla.

Any clues or suggestions?
