I stumbled upon this form while I was doing research on Chins. Lots of useful information.
Have experience with cats, rabbits and currently have 2 gerbils (who are absolutely spoiled).
Spent some time at a wildlife park that had a chin mom and her babies and absolutely fell in love with them and have wanted a chin ever since.
When I finally got a place with air conditioning and without housemates I adopted Danu from a breeder.
I'm a nervous new chin mom, and am trying not to be over protective or worried about every little thing.
I'm soaking up anything I can on chinchillas and will take all the advice I can get on do's and don'ts as I'm new at this.
